Where every ball counts

Private conversation: 2 single players, each with 3 balls.
Duplicate: 2 teams with 2 players each. Each player has 3 balls, so each team has 6 balls.
Triplet: 2 teams with 3 players each. Each player has 2 balls, so each team has 6 balls.

First, it is decided by drawing lots who begins. That person draws a circle on the ground about 35 - 50 cm in diameter.

He stands in the circle and throws the small, wooden target ball to a distance between 6 and 10 meters. The target ball must thereby come to rest 1 meter away from obstacles. After that he himself or another player on his team tries to place the first ball as close as possible to the target ball.

Now the right to throw passes to the other team and opponents, and it remains so until one of their own balls lies closer to the target ball or all the team's balls have been played. After that the other team is on turn again, etc. ...

You are allowed to "push" or "shoot away" any balls — your own, the opponent's, and the target ball — in order to improve the position of your own balls. However, if the target ball bounces off an obstacle or the boundary, you must start again.

The Rules - Boule in 5 Minuten
Only after all balls have been played are the points determined. The player or team whose ball lies closest to the target ball wins the round. If they even have 2 balls closer than the opponents, they get 2 points, etc.! So up to 6 points (in a Tête-à-tête up to 3 points) can be scored per end.

The winner of the round draws a new throwing circle at the spot where the target ball lay and throws the target ball for the next round.

The game is won when the individual player or the team has reached 13 points.
